On April 16th, 2004, a variety of staff members from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, including those involved with the paper's graphics, design, and photography, judged nearly 300 design entries. Christine McNeal, a deputy managing editor at the paper, helped organize the day.

By the end of the day, the judges narrowed down the number of entries to a handful of winners. The success of the day was thanks in no small part to the hard work put in by these staff members. We appreciate each of them for taking time out of their day to help judge for the event, as well as Christine for her help in organizing the event.
